Third party certifications provide a measure of conformity that helps consumers like you make educated purchases. Design for the Environment (DfE) is a third party certification offered by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This designation is awarded to products who meet stringent criteria for human and environmental health. The EPA looks at each individual ingredient and considers toxicity and environmental impact.

Founded in 1936, the Natural Products Association (NPA) advocates for the rights of consumers to have access to products that will maintain and improve their health. In order to help consumers identify products that meet the NPA's strict guidelines, a seal of approval is awarded to and displayed on household products that contain a minimum of 95% Natural ingredients, and pose no suspected health risks to humans.
